Today has been overcast with a little rain. The sun peeped out for a few moments this morning and, given the nature of the weather where I live, may make more appearances before setting this evening. The snowball bushes are dropping their blossoms and my neighbor’s ornamental flowering fruit tree (cherry?) lost the last few pink flowers that it had been holding on to.
The following little snowball bush blossom has been captured in a spiderweb.
cool spring rains fall and
shake loose blossoms that linger
small fallen flowers
