new continent unexplored, a world of possibilities waiting to be
released and channeled toward some great good.”

Flashback – Thursday, January 26, 2012 – This little “hens and chicks” succulent lives indoors.
January 26, 2012 sigFlashback – Saturday, January 26, 2013 – We were supposed to get some rain or snow. Instead what we did get was some some moisture in an inversion with lots of air pollution. The effect was like fog, including some water droplets in the air seen here on the spider web under the hazel brachts.
January 26, 2013 sigFlashback – Sunday, January 26, 2014 – I’m happy to say that I went out today and my ladies were doing cleansing flights. I put my ear to the hive and it sounded like a good buzz 🙂
January 26, 2014Monday, – January 26, 2015 – The male starlings really show their colors when the sun shines on them. The males have been singing from their territorial perches. It is interesting to watch because some of the vocalizations happen when the beak is closed, though you can see the throat feathers bristling.  I was also able to get a single male house finch while the little fellow sang.  The moon is waxing and for some reason reminds me of a bowling ball.
