Seed Bearers 1/5/15

“I will not say, do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.”

I let milkweed grow in my yard to attract the butterflies and beetles that feed exclusively on it. I have woodpeckers that feed on the beetles that live in the mullein seed stalks.”

Sunday, January 5, 2014 – Today I was blessed with birds and our photo today stars a cedar waxwing and robin in a tree full of berries and birds.
January 5, 2014 sigMonday, January 5, 2015 – Today the air was polluted, inverted and overcast.  I have a few of my seed holders that still stand, a few holding little treasures for when the spring comes.  Right now spring seems far away.   Here are garlic chives, horehound and a single sunflower.

But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.”
