Happy New Year 1/1/15

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January, let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past.
~ Henry Ward Beecher

Flashback Tuesday January, 1, 2013 – This is my pick photo for today and it stars a male English house sparrow in my aspen thicket.   Happy New Year, 2013, Friends 🙂

January 1, 2014 sigThursday, January 1, 2015 – Today I heard the scolding of squirrels and watched two chase each other up and down a utility pole.  I wasn’t able to get both together.  I also saw a cute little bird that I am unfamiliar with.  Happy 2015 and may this year bring blessings for all, especially the pollinators and other creatures that share our planet with us.  My wish is that we wake up and live in a way that we can share the planet in a sustainable way with increasing biodiversity 🙂
