Whisper the Grasses 12/5/14

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”
~ John Lubbock12:5:14 g 3 sigFlashback Wednesday, December 5, 2012 – This is my pick photo for today and it stars a little droplet of rain on a hazel twig framed by a couple of the few leaves still remaining.Reminds me of a little jewel and I love that because fresh, clean water is so precious 🙂December 5, 2012 sigFlashback Thursday, December 5, 2013 – This is my pick photo of the day and it stars anise hyssop seed heads with snow in the background 🙂December 5, 2013 sigFlashback Friday, December 5, 2014 – Today I have portraits of some seed heads of ornamental grass that a neighbor gave me a couple of years ago when they moved to the neighborhood. They have pretty stripey leaves and make nice hiding spots for creatures and the seed heads are pretty making a light musical rustling when the wind blows softly.
