Grateful For the Leaves and Rain 11/25/14

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson11:25:14 d closer sigFlashback November Sunday, 25, 2012 – This is my pick photo for today and it stars one of the hazels with catkins, the indigo portion of tonight’s sunset, the neighbor’s aspen, and some birds. I’m not sure what kind of birds these are but hubby heard and saw a flock of crows earlier today. I like how they (the birds) snuck in as I took this photo 🙂November 25, 2012 sigFlashback November  Monday, 25, 2013 – This is my pick photo for today and it stars a mallard drake in super close up 🙂November 25, 2013 sigTuesday, November 25, 2014 – Today we had a light drizzle on and off though out the day.  I live in the west where we have drought and fights over water use.  I am very grateful for this rain and any other form of water that falls on our dry land.  The fallen leaves are also a blessing as they enrich the earth, shelter beneficial insects and wildlife.11:25:14 c d 1 sig 11:25:14 s c l cl sig 11:25:14 c d sig“Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer.
