Autumn Remembers 10/21/14

“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.”
~ Yoko Ono

October 21, 2013 sigTuesday, October 21, 2014 – Today is the 21st day of the month long poetry challenge and you can find today’s prompts here within various parts of my post.  I wonder why autumn is such an evocative time for remembering the past and people who have passed away?  Perhaps it’s because where I live the next season is winter and many things die or fall asleep then and the changing season is so visual.  The fall weather has included sun, clouds, and a little bit of rain in my neighborhood and it is chillier than yesterday.
