“Don’t worry if you feel you can only do one tiny good thing in one small corner of the cosmos. Just be a Buddha body in that one place.”

I’ve tried to get one all season and they are quick and elusive. For some reason this one kept going to the base of my petunias for nectar and I got my chance 🙂

Flashback Wednesday, September 18, 2013 – This is my pick photo for today and it stars a little native bee on an aster.
September 18, 2013 sigThursday, September 18, 2014 – I looked out my back door this morning and saw a couple of wolf spiders had made webs and were getting ready to mate.  I was able to get the male through the glass, then went outside.  I also found one back in the grass (a female).  I think it must be mating season for these spiders.  I also saw a couple of flower (aka hover) flies.

So the threads intertwine,
Oh, gossamer web
Of wond’rous design!
Such beauty and grace
Wild nature produces…
Ughh, look at the spider
Suck out that bug’s juices!”
