Gnophaela vermiculata 8/3/14

Flashback Friday, August 3, 2012 – This is a miniature rose that wasn’t doing well in the parking strip. This spring I moved all of the miniature roses into pots because it was too hot and dry in that place and they were languishing. Most (but not all) have come back 🙂

August 3, 2013 sigSunday, August 3, 2014 – Today I met a couple of new little friends, the diurnal moths Gnophaela vermiculata.  They were courting and mating.  The first photo is the one I had that wasn’t totally blurry of the mating.
