Little Jewels in the Butterfly Weed 6/28/14

Flashback Thursday, June 28, 2012 – We had a beautiful sunset this evening and I love the colors in this picture and am choosing it for my pick photo of the day.

June 28, 2013 sigSaturday, June 28, 2014 – Here are two types of native bees in my neighbor’s butterfly weed (a milkweed species).  The one bee with the yellow belly collects pollen on the hairs of the belly rather than in pollen baskets on the legs.
