Flashback Monday, April 23, 2012 – This is the lovely LDS church called the Garden Ward. It isn’t too far from my home. Red Butte Creek flows through it and it is open for taking pictures on some days. There was a terrible oil spill down Red Butte Creek in 2010 and it fouled everything downstream. Chevron was the oil company responsible. I was so happy to see the water looking much better, though the warning signs are still up here, in Bonneville Glen, Miller Bird Refuge, Liberty Park, and other places as this stream makes its way down from the Wasatch Mountains.
