Forsythia and Sparrows in the Rain 3/26/14

Flashback Monday, March 26, 2012 – Today was very chilly, windy, and a little bit of thunder this morning with a slight wash of rain (need more though). This is a vinca or periwinkle and blooms for a short time in the spring. I love the colors of the blooms and this close up really shows them off.
