January 12 2013 pt b signatureToday is Sunday, 2014, and I woke up to a light dusting of icy looking snow.  It was warmer so where I was had melting snow and some icicles.  Here is an icicle on a flowering quince at my friends’ home just as it drips.

Storm clouds were still around with the possibility of some kind of precipitation and here you can see them with the Wasatch Mountains, along with the freshly snow dusted trees.

“Whether the eave-drops fall
Heard only in the trances of the blast,
Or if the secret ministry of frost
Shall hang them up in silent icicles,
Quietly shining to the quiet moon.”
~Samuel Taylor Coleridge
